Эта память навеки нам дана…

On May 4, young peacekeepers of Gymnasium No. 2 named after the School of Peace held a lesson of courage and honor “This memory is forever given to us”, dedicated to the Victory Day.

“Schools of Peace” is an international project that is being implemented in Belarus through the regional and regional branches of the “Belarusian Peace Foundation”. The main goal of the project is to contribute to the strengthening of peace and security through the education of children on the basis of human values of humanism and compassion – what the Peace Foundation sets as its priorities.

Honored guests of the Lesson of courage and honor were the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Sheynkman LS and Savchik MN, the chairman of the Pervomaisky regional organization of the Belarusian Foundation for Peace. During the lesson, young peacekeepers told about the life and ways of their great-grandfathers, stories and photos of which were posted on the stand “Always in the line, in memory forever!”.

Also, the gymnasium students prepared and showed solemn speeches. The first was the speech of the propaganda team “Battle for Belarus”, with which students became winners in the regional competition of pioneer propaganda groups “Light a bonfire of good!”. After them, a team of high school students performed, which became the winners of the regional action “To the Future Defenders of the Fatherland!”. In conclusion, gymnasiums of all ages read poems of their own compositions and, of course, sang songs about the heroism of Soviet soldiers and the happiness to live in a peaceful country today.

Afterwards, during his speech in Savchik M.N. presented gratitude for the great peacekeeping work to class leaders: Grishanova EL (8 “A”), Umanskaya IA. (9 “B”), the teacher-organizer Skizhenka EA and member of the Board of Trustees of the gymnasium Yaroshchuk NE (6 “B”).

At the end of the event, the hall, in a patriotic impulse under the leadership of the Honored Guest of Sheinkman, LS, performed the beloved and well-known folk song “A little more, just a little more …”.

The lesson will forever remain in the memory of young peacekeepers!
