“The connection of generations can not be interrupted!”

On April 14, young peacekeepers of Gymnasium No. 2 in Minsk – “Schools of Peace” held an action “Memory” to care for the sponsored burial places of participants of the Great Patriotic War in the Eastern cemetery of Minsk.

 For reference:

“Schools of Peace” is an international project that is being implemented in Belarus through the regional and regional branches of the “Belarusian Peace Foundation”. The main goal of the project is to contribute to the strengthening of peace and security through the education of children on the basis of human values of humanism and compassion – what the Peace Foundation sets as its priorities.

Traditionally, high school students take away the graves of Heroes of the Soviet Union Sambuk IE, Bulat BA, Honored Pilot of the USSR Zhukovsky S.Ya. and an unknown pilot, shot down near Minsk in 1944. Both heroes sacrificed their lives to save their native country from the horrors of occupation and Nazism.

The action “Minute of silence” at each burial has come to the end.
