At the end of 2019, the VIII reporting and election conference of the International Association of world funds (IAFM) was held in Moscow, where its Chairman A. E. Karpov reported on the organization’s work over the past 5 years.
Of the 32 delegates, 20 arrived in Moscow, including from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Each delegation spoke about their achievements in peacekeeping over the past 5 years. Personnel decisions were also made – A. E. Karpov was re-elected President of the IAFM, and S. N. Baburin-the first Vice-President of the organization. Anatoly Karpov has been successfully managing the International Association of peace funds for 37 years, since the time when it was the Soviet peace Fund. It was he who kept it in 1991-1992, reorganizing it into The Association of world funds. The speech of Maxim Misko, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian peace Foundation, was bright and serious in content. On behalf of the Belarusian peace Foundation, he presented the trilogy of children’s creativity «Happiness to live in a peaceful country», recently released on the basis of the eponymous projects of children’s creativity in Belarus. At the conference, Maxim Vladimirovich Misko was elected a member of the IAFM Council, and Svetlana Petrovna Chizhikova, a member Of the Board of the Belarusian peace Foundation and Chairman of the Molodechno district organization, was elected a member of the audit Commission Of the international Association of peace foundations of the CIS countries.
